Working time and rest

Keep a simple record of agreed hours and major schedule changes. Free time must be genuinely free. Being present in the home does not automatically mean being available for childcare. Discuss evening babysitting, weekends, travel with the family and exceptional situations in advance. Repeated unplanned extensions are a warning sign that the arrangement needs review.
